ABOUT

Takki Dangerfield is a Mississippi-born, Texas-based artist carving his own lane where hip-hop grit meets country soul. Raised on storytelling and rhythm, he spent the last decade chasing a sound that felt honest—writing, recording, and testing himself through highs and lows until he arrived at a voice that’s unapologetically southern and unmistakably his. That journey has begun to break through: in Los Angeles, Takki was honored with an opportunity to open for a prestigious awards event hosted by Jarvee Hutchinson, a milestone that marked his shift from local standout to national stages.
Back in Texas, Takki sharpened his craft with the guidance of renowned vocal coach Linda Septien and her son Remington (Remi) of the Septien Entertainment Group—a family whose training has touched some of music’s biggest names. Their mentorship helped refine his delivery, elevate his stage presence, and strengthen the discipline behind the music. Just as important, it forged a brotherhood that continues to fuel his growth as both an artist and a man, turning raw potential into intentional performance.
What sets Takki apart isn’t just the fusion—it’s the story driving it. He’s a southern hustler at heart, bridging cultures, neighborhoods, and sounds to prove hip-hop and country aren’t opposites, but pieces of the same American truth. With new music and live shows on the horizon, Takki is carrying Mississippi grit into big Texas energy—and from there to wherever the road leads. Press play, turn it up, and step into the world he’s building—one hook, one verse, one honest moment at a time.
